David who?

David Greely Knott is a graduate student at San Diego State University in the Asian Pacific Studies department. In November of 2005 David was elected president of the Association for Asian Pacific Studies, a student organization founded for SDSU students focusing on Asian Pacific studies. His focus is on the interaction between the international and Chinese media. He has travelled to the PRC, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Japan, as well as California, which, he would argue, proved the most culturally challenging of these travels.

It was at his alma mater, Furman University, where he met his wife, Erica, shown above. The newlyweds were married April 30, 2006. At Furman David received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Asian Studies in 2002. While at Furman, he spent his time singing in the Furman Singers or playing club baseball, seen at right. Presently, his focus is on researching for his master's thesis and singing in the San Diego State Chamber Singers. Erica is a first year student at California Western School of Law in beautiful downtown San Diego.
